FULL SKIRTS EDITION
1960's sew pattern VS Christian Dior
Spring/Summer 14'
Oh, how the times have returned as we see a comeback of the 1960's full skirt trend return on the Christian Dior runway for the Spring/Summer 14' show. While sticking to the classic pattern from the 1960's, I must say that he puts a modern spin on it with the shimmering multi-colored metallic fabric and use of a contrasting hounds tooth pattern for the upper chest pockets. These skirts are so elegant and roomy that it not hard to see why they have made a comeback. However they also can add a elegant spin on your casual as well. My outfit of choice for work or a daytime outing with friends is: a bold color or pattern full skirt, denim button down, and some pointed toe flats. Once you get into your own style these babies can pretty much do anything!
P.S These full skirts are not the only sign that the times have returned this season.
Until my next post, remember that there is always room for a comeback! Sincerely, Miko!
