So I just watched he Gabby Douglas movie on Lifetime and it was quite inspirational. In fact it was more than that, IT WAS AWESOME! She endured so much and still succeeded in the end. Her family made so many different sacrifices from putting their dreams on hold to being on food stamps just so she could go after her dream. Another great inspirational part of the movie was when Gabby moved Iowa to train. Although the entire family was fearful of her leaving, that did not let that stop them. They put all that fear aside because Gabby's dream was bigger than all of their fears combined. All of the belief that they had in her inspired her to not only train harder than usual but to get back up every time after she thought she had failed. This movie showed that not matter what struggles you start with in life, with a dream and belief in yourself, you can accomplish anything. It also showed that when you allow your dreams to be bigger than your fears you can turn them into a reality. This was a great way to start of the first of Black History month.
If you missed the premiere, it comes back on tomorrow at 9:00pm on Lifetime.

Until my next post, remember to always allow your dreams to be bigger than your fears. Sincerely, Miko!
